The Clean energy for EU islands secretariat is currently evaluating the applications after the latest Call for technical Assistance, calling EU islands to apply for technical support for their projects. A total number of 36 valid applications from all over Europe have reached us. The majority of applications came from Greek islands, followed by Italian islands.

The new energy cooperative "Apsyrtides" was established in Cres in the Palace of Moise on April 30th, 2021. The establishment of the cooperative is a natural continuation of a story that started two years ago. In 2019, the Clean Energy for EU Islands Secretariat, with the European Commission's support, selected the archipelago for a pilot program.
